David has had an impressive career spanning over a decade as a Secondary School Mathematics Teacher and educational leader. For the past 7 years, David has served as Head of Year at The Mountbatten School, currently overseeing Year 11 students during this crucial stage of their academic journey.

As Head of Year 11 at The Mountbatten School, David plays a major role in student pastoral care, academic guidance and transition planning. Through David’s commitment to this role, David has helped students achieve improved academic outcomes, enhanced personal development and successful progression to further education.

David brings a unique international perspective to education, having spent 8 years teaching English and training teachers in China during summer holidays. This cross-cultural experience has enriched David’s teaching approach and global educational insight.
