Personal Best International Education unveils transformative programmes to prepare young learners for future success
Personal Best International Education (PBIE) announces the launch of its transformative residential summer school and year-round group programmes for international young learners today at the study travel Alphe conference in London.
PBIE’s mission is to equip young learners with the essential skills and knowledge they need to thrive in the future world through engaging, immersive, and dynamic programmes.
Blair Byfield, Managing Director of Personal Best, shared:
“We aim to inspire students to develop real-world skills and foster an understanding of the critical issues facing our planet today, all within an age-appropriate context. Our programmes focus on skills development that will help students navigate our world and succeed in the future. Students develop essential skills such as communication, creativity, critical thinking, logical reasoning and digital literacy through a variety of subjects and real-world topics such as robotics, virtual reality, AI, business and sustainability.
“What sets our programmes apart is the opportunity for international students to experience an authentic British education alongside local students from The Mountbatten School, . This immersive environment not only enhances their English language skills but also offers a unique intercultural learning experience, fostering collective global understanding and collaboration.”
In 2025, all programmes will take place at the prestigious Mountbatten School in Romsey, Hampshire, located just 100 km from London Heathrow Airport. Named in honour of Lord Mountbatten, whom King Charles III fondly referred to as “the grandfather I never had,” the school carries his legacy, land, and reputation in perpetuity. Lord Mountbatten took an active interest in the school during his lifetime, often attending speech days and special events, reflecting his commitment to its success and values.
Today the campus features a newly built residence with dormitory-style rooms accommodating 4-6 students. Additionally, it offers a wide range of sports and activities with state-of-the-art facilities, including a recording studio for aspiring DJs, a dance studio, and both astro and grass pitches, with the football pitch FIFA-approved.
Blair Byfield added:
“I’m delighted that leading the 2025 summer camp are seasoned international young learner programme veterans, husband and wife team Sian and Petro Choma.
Sian Choma-Peters, who has played a key role in developing the programmes, commented:
“We are excited to welcome young learners from around the globe to an engaging and rewarding educational experience in a safe and supportive campus environment.”
