About Us

Personal Best International Education is a dynamic new division of Personal Best Education, which was founded in 2012 by The Mountbatten School. Originally focused on delivering premium education, sports, and leisure activities to the local community, Personal Best Education has earned a reputation for excellence in its mission to help all individuals achieve their personal best.

Building on this strong foundation, Personal Best International Education takes our mission to a global scale. We are committed to equipping young people with the knowledge, skills, and values needed to become successful, responsible citizens who can positively impact the world.  Our programmes bring together international students with British students from The Mountbatten School.  This creates an enriching environment where students from diverse backgrounds can collaborate, share perspectives, and learn from each other in an authentic British academy school environment.

Central to our methodology is CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning), where students improve their subject knowledge while simultaneously enhancing their English language skills through context-based learning.  This approach not only enhances academic development and language skills, but also promotes personal growth, global understanding, and lifelong friendships.

Our programmes combine the expertise of experienced UK Secondary School teachers, English language specialists, pastoral professionals, qualified sports and activities coaches and international summer camp experts to provide an immersive educational experience with British students.

Danny Smith – Head of Operations

Danny is Head of Operations for Personal Best International Education. With over 20 years’ experience in UK and international youth projects, he specialises in programme delivery, team leadership and creating opportunities that empower young people.
