Lubna Ahmad is a Computer Science teacher at The Mountbatten School, where she is responsible for delivering dynamic and engaging lessons in the field of STEM education. With a strong passion for expanding access to STEM, Lubna is dedicated to creating opportunities that allow students to explore and excel in technology.
Among her notable accomplishments is the development and implementation of a comprehensive curriculum that promotes student engagement with Computing. She has been instrumental in organising initiatives that bridge the gap between primary and secondary education, including running workshops that introduce younger students to key Computing concepts. Lubna has also expanded the school’s outreach to local primary schools, helping to inspire future generations of tech enthusiasts. Additionally, she has successfully planned and executed educational trips, including visits to The National Museum of Computing, to further ignite students’ passion for STEM fields.
